OVERVIEW

Closed die forging is a metal forming process where the heated material is placed in a precision die cavity and shaped by controlled high-pressure forces. This process ensures superior mechanical properties, uniform grain flow, high strength and repeatability, making it ideal for critical components.

We manufacture closed die forged components in a wide range of sizes and material grades for pumps & valves, oil & gas, power, heavy engineering, mining, marine and process industries.

KEY FEATURES

  • High strength and improved mechanical properties
  • Controlled grain flow and better fatigue life
  • Complex shapes with tight dimensional tolerances
  • Repeatable and consistent quality
  • Lower material waste compared to open processes
  • Suitable for high pressure and critical applications
  • Heat treatment and machining support
  • Manufactured as per customer drawings / standards
  • Complete dimensional, NDT and PMI inspection
  • Wide range of material grades
